A thoughtful reshuffle within a classic townhouse creating space for growth, work, and connection without changing the footprint. Where every corner works harder for the family’s evolving life.

Nestled within the tight-knit streetscape of Kensington Banks, this modest townhouse was full of potential yet constrained by an outdated layout. The new owners approached the project with clear needs: additional bedrooms for a growing family, a dedicated study space to support working from home, and a layout that better connected living and private areas without expanding the footprint.

Instead of extending or adding complexity, the renovation took a thoughtful approach while reshuffling and reimagining the existing plan. Every space was evaluated and redesigned to meet these evolving needs. A third bedroom and a study were seamlessly introduced by repurposing underused areas, while corridors were refined to improve flow and natural light was coaxed deeper inside.

The result is a home that responds directly to the owners’ lifestyle, flexible, connected, and calm. A place where everyday life can unfold smoothly, balancing togetherness and quiet moments, all while respecting the original character of the townhouse.
